Default valley cover screws for FAST90

will the FAST 90mm intake bolt up on a GEN3 LS engine with the LS6 valley cover with the hex head bolts? Do the valley cover bolts need to be replaced with lower profile socket cap (allen) screws?

They need to be replaced. Don't install it with the LS6 hex head bolts or you'll crack the intake. The allen screws should have come with your FAST 90

indeed.many have tried only to find out they now have a cracked intake.if you don't have the bolts go by a hardware store and they could possibly have some but i have never looked so that is just speculation.

I know a guy who had this issue with the FAST 90 and the LS2 valley cover. He had used the hex head screws and ended up with a crack in his intake. I wasn't sure if this was caused by the hardening and warping of his FAST's lower side or if the hex heads were just too big. Thanks for the help, I'll pick up some new hardware first.

You can buy the hardware kit for the FAST if you bought it used and it didn't come with the bolts.

DO NOT INSTALL ANY FAST INTAKE WITHOUT THE BUTTON HEAD/ALLEN SCREWS or you will be out about $300 (price of a new bottom).
