Question Powerbond UD Pulley Install:

I know this has been beat to death on here, but I have a question about the use of the ARP bolt. I have a new GM bolt to use, but after reading stuff on here about them breaking do I need to use the ARP? Thanks

Your GM bolt should be okay, just follow the torque specs and don't overdo it.

Either one should be fine, but to be honest, I opted for the ARP last time around.

After having a fit getting the old March pulley off (and breaking a harmonic balancer puller bolt off in the pully), I didn't want to take any chances damaging anything else due to questionable hardware.

Not the cheapest bolt (~$27), but I felt better using it.

The greater number of points on the head of the ARP bolt seemed to make tightening somewhat easier.

Good luck.
