Are Dynatech Split flow the same as Borla XR-1?

Default Are Dynatech Split flow the same as Borla XR-1?

My friend is welding my exhaust for me. I will have Pacesetter LT's on and am going with a 3" catted Y to 3.5" single. The 3.5" will go over the axle and the muffler will be behind the bumper and just dump out of the muffler...no tips. I was wondering if these two mufflers are the same. I like the XR-1 but if the Dynatech is the same thing I will just get that and save some $

the xr1 is just a perforated core. almost like a bullet, but with more sound insulation. i have two and theyre straight through.

That's basically what the Dynatech is but the dynatech has a split inside the core but is still straight through. I think the split flow will help a little more with the db's as I dont want this too loud. It's already going to be pretty loud as it is
