stepped headers

if stepped headers make more low-end power, why aren't all headers stepped??

They don't make more power on stock cubes really or all out RPM H/C/I. You lose some effects of scavenging and EGV with a stepped primary. Stick w/ 1-3/4 lengths.

well i plan running a 427 with kooks 1 7/8" stepped to 2" into 3 1/2" collectors. i kinda wonder what the difference in power would be between a 1 7/8" to 2" to 3 1/2" and your run of the mill 1 7/8" to 3"
