Remove AIR and EGR - HOW??
- Dug
Unplug and unbolt the EGR from the passenger side head and fitting on the manifold and remove the single bolt holding it into the top of the intake. Be sure not to drop the rubber O-ring under the tube into the intake. Plug it with the rubber freeze plug and the block-off plate and that's it.
The AIR is the same, basically. There's one fitting on each manifold. When you unbolt them, you can remove the tubes that follow around the rear of the engine bay on top of the manifold, following it down the driver's fender and down low in front of the L/F tire. You'll see the pump and plugs attached to it there. Just unbolt and plug the fittings with the block-off plates. Are you deleting them from the program? If not, SES will/may come up. It won't affect the way the car runs but the light sucks!
