I am having problems with my idle, and I'm pretty sure that my IAC valve has gone bad. Does anyone know what the difference is between the 98-99 IAC Valve and the 00-02 IAC Valve and which one I should get because they are different part numbers? Any help will be appreciated.

Externally they are the same. I'm using a 99 BBK tb on my 01 Z28 (with the 01 IAC motor). I think I remember someone saying that the later version is updated to work better.
