looks good to me. I'd look in to the TSP lid since it gives hp over the LS1motorsports.

It looks good. As already stated, I would look into the TSP lid. Also, do a search about the bellows I think that you can make one for very little money with parts from a Home Depot type of store. Loudmouth should be a good choice, I LOVE mine!

if you really want to buy a filter, go with a holley powershot. i have a k&n but the seal is not to great... i have sealed it to my ls1 motorsports lid with blue rtv.

I also agree with others, get the TSP lid and maybe skip the bellows and put that money towards a cam or some headers.

No loudmouth! You'll hate it after you get Headers and no cats! Get a Hooker catback if you want to save on cash. Or Corsa or GMMG.

Enjoy the car!

It is just not needed? its really easy to put in. Maybe the easiest mod?? The cags will save you a lot of "dammit" 's when it forces you to shift to fourth.
Plus if you get a tune they can eliminate the skip shift that way as well.

Good list except for the lid and the bellow. Many people have problems with that lid not fitting to well onto the lower airbox. And for the bellow, you can get one at Home Depot for around $4 that I hear works and looks better. I don't know what it is called right off hand. With the money you save on the bellow, buy a better lid like a TSP or Whisper.

And the !CAGS is a great mod!!! I did it and now love being able to shift when I want to. I hate driving by a cop and having to get it up to 2 or 3k RPM's to shift

The first order is very nice, but change K&N filter to Holly filter and ls1 motorsports lid to TSP lid.

Good luck

I've only heard about fitting problems with the LS1 Motorsports lid and the SLP Lid, more so with the LS1 MS lid. Get a TSP or Whisper Lid instead.

that little bellow thing from home depot is called a fernco...i tried that but it didnt work for me....i think a hairdryer to heat it up and get it soft will help....also, you can get a 99 cent resistor to stick in where the !CAGS goes...im not sure what voltage though or amp (whatever it is read in).
