The best price that I found on the Edelbrocks was through West Coast Cylinder Heads. I ended up buying American racing headers instead. I've always used GM header gaskets, they seal great. Edelbrock does not sell cats with their headers.

I was thinking about getting carsound cats. Install University said they flow the best. I'm not sire if a 13" cat with lt's will fit under the car with duals and x pipe though. Any other cats outflow carsounds?

I have a set of Edelbrock stainless pn#65701 on the shelf. I sell them for $668.91 plus shipping. I don't have a Y-pipe (pn#65711) in stock but I sell them for $196.88ea plus shipping. PM me if you have any questions or would like to place and order.

As far as true duals I would run dual 3", 3 1/2 is too big, and stepped headers are great.

Thanks for responding Richard. Since I got extended over here I will purchase them from you in December/January time frame. I won't forget you, trust me. I do want the stainless ones. The part number you listed is for stainless right? Also, what all comes with the stainless package such as gaskets, bolts etc? Also, do you sell cats and band clamps, all that good stuff? Thanks for the reply Chris, I'm still not sure about 2.5" or 3". I'm leaning towards 2.5" because after the exhaust, that will be all the power for a long time. Anybody have dyno numbers with 2.5" exhaust versus 3"?

Are band clamps effective for sealing the exhaust, or will it still leak?

Those pics make the Pacesetter's look bad. Aren't they closely priced too?

I ran duel 3" on my 98z28 stock motor and it ran fine and was faster than before the true duels.

On a side note I started a new thread for the 304 Stainless Edelbrocks...these are not any where near the price of the coated pacesetter but are actually the competition for Kooks, QTP, and ARH. Since I DESPISE (STICKYS RULE!) the search and I like to have all my info. in one place in case I need to refer to it later I made this thread...Just an FYI for those interested has current pricing and install instructions.

I'm not flaming you but who's to say that it would have made more power with 2.5" duals instead of 3". You say it's faster but both ways will make it faster. On stock power, I don't see how 3" duals would make more low end torque than 2.5", or through the power band. Do you have dyno sheets or track times? Thanks for the input.
