Prothane mounts

Prothane mounts The damn search keeps going to an error screen. Okay, here's my question. Do the prothane motor mounts make the motor shake less by making the car shake? What's the benefit of these? Reason I'm asking is because I'm dropping my K-Member to install Rod bolts and was thinking about doing motor mounts too. Thank you!
most people do them when there is something else to do down there b/c they are a pain in the ****. if your down there i say do it. i dont personally have them but i know people who do and their cars dont shake. it helps with tight fitting exhast banging too.
I have them. I didn't notice any shaking whatsoever, you wouldn't even know I have them when your in the car. I did them when I put in my longtubes because I didn't feel like screwing around with a banging exhaust and for like 50 something bucks, they're well worth it I think.
I have the Prothanes along with a UMI K member, great mod. I believe the car does in fact shake a little more, but who cares. The point of having urethane mounts in the first place IS to transfer engine motion and energy to the whole car.

Do yourself a huge favor and at least replace your current mounts with new stockers. You'll save a lot of time and headache. I would vote putting some polys in there though. I don't like the idea of the engine being able to move around!
