Don't have the whole set-up myself, but install is easy. If cost is an issue you could do free ram air, and buy a lid and a filter for at or a little under $150 and get similar gains.

I had the kit on my old Z/28. It was nice, but I wouldn't do it again. I would take the $300 bucks and just buy the SLP lid (which is a very fine product) for $99, just do the 'free ram air mod', and use the left overs to pick up a nice ported throttle body. I'm not too impressed with after market bellows, and a lot of people have fitment issues with them.

Verdad Gallardo It's cutting a whole in the bottom of your air box assembly to force air in. You have to do basically the same thing anyways if your going to install the air plenum from that kit.
