h/c install done, car WILL NOT IDLE! Cam specs are 228/236 .571. 602 111LSA, SII RMS 5.3 heads. I set the idle set screw some more, (before cam was a tr224 112, so idle set screw was adjusted for that) so like i said, I gave it a couple of turns, car still has an idle problem. So now im thinking that I need to drill the hole in my T.B. some. What size are you all drilling it too? Car has an FLP level IV trans, huge stall speed, and ED Wright tunning. Please let me know, I really want to drive my car again.

Re: h/c install done, car WILL NOT IDLE! send you computer back to ed with the new specs it might help but the hole in the tb is 1/8 I wouldn't go any larger than 3/16 1 size larger than 1/8

Re: h/c install done, car WILL NOT IDLE! it may also just take a bit of driving around for the pcm to get used to everything, If your gonna drill be careful and only go up one step at a time from the stock TB hole cause if you go to big

Re: h/c install done, car WILL NOT IDLE! Well, all it took was a 3/16 hole. I let it idle for about 10 minutes, and then while sitting in my garage, I went threw all the gears, and everything seems OK.
