Default Hurt untuned??

I am going to put on Pacesetter Lt's, Pacesetter ORY (!AIR-!EGR), exhaust cut out and a LM1. Will it hurt it to drive until I get my cam in? I hate to go get it tuned twice. Thanx in advance

been driving 6 months without a tune, other than lack of gas mileage and occasional erratic idle, I'm not having any other problems with it

I would get it tuned. Updates are usually free or at just an hourly rate. No need to buy the software again.

If you plan on getting a cam I don't see why a tuning shop would not go in a turn your AIR, EGR, and rear 02's off for a small price and then do the full tune when you get your cam. I would just be easy on your motor until you get it tuned.

Ive been driving mine like that for a few months now as well. I have taken it to 6k a few times as well. I made sure the only things that were causing a problem were rear o2s and AIR/EGR before with my scanner, but that is all it can do is scan. I knew my car would be going away for the winter soon anways and first thing spring, cam is going in and full tune will be done. I hate the gas milage but I dont drive the car for long periods.

Headers usually richen the A/F mix, so you're prolly ok. That being said, tuned is always better and safer.
