Default Plug Wires ?

After years of not paying attention to the posts about who makes good plug wires, I need a set. I don't really care about what they look like, I'm just looking for a set for a reasonable price, that last and can take the heat from being close to headers (G-hanns)

I searched but had not found any threads lately.

TIA
Mark

MSD 8.5's are popular, Taylor Thundervolts, Taylor Spiropros. I know that Jegs.com is selling the MSD's for around $50. Not bad if you ask me.

Probably the best ones I've seen to date are the Accell 9000. http://www.lmperformance.com/1666/1.html

But the Taylor wires from ThunderRacing are nice also and only $70

I just put on a set of 8.5 MSDs on Saturday that I got from Jegs. They are pretty nice, and they were only $50.99 + shipping. Good deal IMO.

I just installed a set of Taylor "409" Pro Race wires. They are 10.4mm and look really good under the hood(red). They seemed to give my car a little bit more punch at top end, it pulls a little harder at higher RPM's:p. I got mine from Summit Racing for $56, shipping was free.

I prefer the stock wires for there tight fit and good snap on the plugs.Too bad they cost too much.
Make sure the MSD's are on real good. It's pretty hard to hear the click on the plug when installing.
