TPS problem?

TPS problem? Hey guys, drove the TA for the first time in a couple years with the new 6.0 in it (still NA until I get the hot side re-plumbed for the turbo), and noticed something strange... The thing idles at like 2,000 rpm with the TPS plugged in... I remove it and it idles down around 750-850, surging just a little bit but not throwing misfire codes anymore. It drives fine without the TPS in, but as soon as I plug it back in, the idle shoots up. I took it apart and there was some sort of oil or something in there... not sure if it ruined the sensor, but I cleaned it out with brake cleaner and reassembled... haven't run it since. Bad TPS? What do you guys think? BTW - that 6.0 in that car runs like a champ, it really surprised me the amount of torque it has with those 4.10's and that 6 speed.

I'm now beginning to wonder if it has anything to do with the IAC. Guess it's a possibility... is there a way in efilive to set this? I remember seeing something about IAC somewhere in there referring to steps. Thanks again guys.

Ended up being the TPS. Replaced it, and now it's good. Took it for a spin and lost a ton of power... 18.5 degrees total advance WOT for the turbo, running NA SUCKS. Can't wait for the weekend to get here and get the hot side re-plumbed. This 6.0 should run pretty damn sweet I hope! Thanks for the help guys!
