What is this

My car has been running bad, showing o2 sensor readins that were varied.

Took the cats off and this poured outof the header side of the cat.

It has slight flecks of shiny material in it, and looks like coal

Is this cat material that has broken apart?
is it carbon from overfueling that has locked the cat?

I dont want to take the cat apart yet, but what is this???

That there is the internals of your cat.Time for new cats or just remove them
