Default Harlan 2 Step and TransBrake Question

Ok so i wired the tbrake and 2 step like this

12V directly to the tbrake solenoid

ground to the momentary button on the shifter than to the tbrake solenoid .the brake works .

i tapped the white wire on the harlan 2 step between the button and solenoid.

I can get it to work but i have to tap the momentary 1 time to arm the 2 step. than hold it the 2nd time the 2 step works and will release when i let go of the momentary the 2nd time.

The problem is my tbrake botton has to be pressed for reverse to work on my glide. so its truning the 2 step on and off as i use reverse. I could wire a toggle switch in it so the 2 step is not in the circuit until turned on but thats just 1 more thing to remember at the line. i like to keep it simple. is there a way to wire it so the arm and on function works with only 1 push of the momentary? I dont want to have to doubel press it.

I tried putting the gray and the white togeather to both get the momentary ground and also giving the gray an all-time ground. neither worked.

Wow, thats the exact same problem I'm having with my 2 step and t-brake on my powerglide. I really need an answer too.
