Manifold and MAF, plus LID Questions

Manifold and MAF, plus LID Questions Ok so i'm a total newbie, but I didn't feel this question applied to the BASIC questions of the NEWBIE FORUM so I hope it's alright that I posted it here.
Moving on, my setup in question is a FAST 90mm Intake Manifold and a Nick Williams 90mm Throttle Body to a FAST 85mm LID with their FILTER and an SSRA kit, to an SLP Smooth Bellow. Now what I'm unsure about is would I be able to use a GRANATELLI MAF for this application or should I purchase the FAST MAF that they advertise for their product? Which would be better? I think the FAST MAF is an 85mm that is Ported also...is the GRANATELLI MAF able to be Ported? Is their a better option that will yield greater performance for my setup than a FAST LID? I do plan on having the TB and Intake Manifold ported also if this helps(I believe you can port these anyways).
Hope these questions aren't totally moronic but i've got zero experience with performance cars of any sort so i'm basically attempting to get a clue LoL

I'm planning them and definentally not. I will be purchasing a tuning device with the software also since I do feel it will be necessary. Any suggestions on the device? I'm planning on nitrous being the only power adder for now also. Hope that helps!!
could you give us a little idea of what you have already? hard to say what to get next without knowing what you have now?
and the stock maf is usually fine up to about 500hp, the others get hard to tune. if you go above that, most people just go SD tune

I didn't know my combination made such a difference in my choosing of a tuning device! The funny thing is that i'm GOING to be buying a 99-02 SS in spring time and right now i'm looking at building a strong combination and increasing my knowledge at the same time, since I have zero experience! I'll most likely be doing AFR heads(not sure what cam and internals yet), and things along those lines of parts, along with suspension of course. I've read about many 500+ rwhp camaros being built and this is what i'm looking to achieve. I'm just doing some research right now so that when I buy this car in a few months i'll have all the tools I need to build a winning car. Thanks so much for your time!

Sounds good, I'll be looking that up. Can anyone answer my original question about the FAST MAF vs the GRANATELLI MAF (both 85mm I believe) for the FAST 85mm LID. Which one would be a wiser choice for this product. I did post on their thread just a little bit ago about whether or not a GRANATELLI MAF would even work for their LID, but didn't ask which would be better since I wasn't sure if that was appropriate to ask them LoL. Thanks again!
