tsp 233/239 PTV issues with 5.3 heads??? i was thinking about getting a tsp 233/239 113 +3 and i allready have ported 5.3 heads on my motor. i'm sure if the heads are milled but it looks like a gm graphite head gasket on the car. right now i'm running a 224 114 +4 cam. i'm not sure how well PtoV will be. i know some people run this cam with prc 5.3 heads but is it close? i know i have stock length pushrods also 7.4. anybody think i'll have a problem?(really don't want to pull the heads off)
you might want to be in the internal section, but it sounds like you dont know if the heads are milled right? Thats one of the biggest factors of PTV issues... find if they are milled or not
I ran the 233/239 with TSPs 5.3s...no problems. Heads only had a 0.006" clean up pass on them at the time. Used GM MLS gaskets...

correct. i got the motor out of a wrecked car and never found the original owner. if they are milled, i don't think it's much cuz i still have 7.4 push rod length
