buying an engine that had a (pretty good) fire
Hey guys, I searched quite a bit and couldn't really find anything on this topic.
I am in need of an engine for cheap, and I found an LQ4 that had a fire that I can get for 4-500 bucks.
It looks pretty rough, but I wasn't going to be able to use the intake, wiring harness, etc anyway.
The only thing I would want it for is the long block. Engine has just over 30,000 miles on it.
Is this a terrible idea to get this engine??
