underdrive pulleys ?
i've had my ASP unit for 4yrs
haven't had any noticable problems with it.
threw a belt ONCE in the driveway...hasn't happend since.
charges fine.
seemed to allow the car to rev faster, but who knows...stuff like that is SO subjective.
if you're looking for bolt ons that you can do at home...it works.
but there are probably better things to put your money into.

Doh I should have gone SLP.
I have a March pulley http://http://www.ws6project.com/use...381f621c0c91ad
installed it and with the SLP high flow oil pump the engine wouldn't turn round by hand.
The depth of the pulley much have been greater, so try to avoid this combination of pulley and oil pump. Not sure which one is at fault, but stock pulley and SLP pump is fine.

Verdad Gallardo Didn't say it was bad just that if this is the only thing or first thing someone is doing why bother, if the car hasn't been tuned yet I would spend my money there first. Save the $250 and put it towards a cam swap or intake. 10 rwhp is not exactly a seat of the pants feel. How much will it lower your ET? Not trying to pick a fight, just looking for bang for the buck. I will probably get one down the road.
oh yhea when you put it like that.... your totally right, my point is, 25 per dollar aint a bad deal. Lets say you drop 1200 on a full exaust system which is still a resonably fair price and you pick up 30 hp thats 40 dollars per h/p. or if a full cam swap costs 1000 and u pick up 40-50 horses, your in that same 25 hp/dollar ratio. The only problem is now you NEED a tune (with a cam that picks up 50 hp) and then it sets you back to 40 dollars per h/p. Ive heard a general rule of thumb is anything better thern 45 dollars to h/p is a great deal, 45-90 is like aiight and over 90 is just not good at all. But in the sence that you ment, 69lt1, your absolutly right.
