3" Y with stock exhaust??
ok so i bought my car with LT's Y pipe and LM1 i want to sell the LM1 and get stock catback with a E-cut out. can i get the 3" y to fit on the stock exhaust? what size is it? i thought i read it is 2.75 would i just need an adapter?

Yeah you can get an adpater for it. I ran 3" cutout to my stock cat back for 2 years. I would think you will loose power for everyday driving, but at the track when open you will get your 5-10 rwhp back. That was the power difference in my dyno numbers open vs. closed.

I have JetHot longtubes, Off road Y pipe, with my stock catback and love the sound...I started with a Borla adjustable, then swapped on a Magnaflow, and the stock sounds the best IMO...
FWIW, I needed NO ADAPTERS whatsoever. I did remove the stock "clamp" from the "I" pipe and replace it with a stainless band clamp for a leak-free seal though.

Unfortunately, none after cam swap as wife has evidently lost our camera...
FWIW, I needed NO ADAPTERS whatsoever. I did remove the stock "clamp" from the "I" pipe and replace it with a stainless band clamp for a leak-free seal though.

haha nice sounds good! how loud is it? i have SLP LM1's on right now. and i am selling it for stock exhaust and 200. cuz i want quiet and then the cut out for when i want it loud!!
