Need advice on intake and mass airflow sensors

Need advice on intake and mass airflow sensors i have a 1998 Z-28, it has no cats, flowmaster exhaust, a 4:10 gear and a k&n air filter. I want to change out the stock LS1 intake but i dont really know what to get. i hear alot about the fast 90 and the slp ls6 intake. i also wanted to change the mass airflow sensor if it will help out. Also what is better for power the k&n fipk or the slp system? 
intake: FAST 90 really doesnt gain much over the ls6 unless you have heads and a cam, the ls6 will do more than enough for you. you can find those in the for sale adds for anywhere between $300 and $350
MAF: dont worry about changing that, the stockers good until 500ish rwhp so the other ones are a little overkill, you CAN go with one, but usually money could be better spent elsewhere, also some shops have a hard time tuning some of the aftermarket ones
LID: i went SLP, i personally dont see the FIPK having a big advantage over a lid unless you have a ram air hood, which you dont. its another $/hpgained dispute. A lid will 99% of the time be fine.

well i plan on adding a cam and headers this spring but im only lookin for about 350-400 rwhp, is there a particular brand of ls6 intake to buy? i seen that slp has one. oh and should i look into the slp cold air or just the lid?
