? about Edelbrock LTs
? about Edelbrock LTs I recently got some of these and put them onwith an ORY set-up. I'm getting ready to have some duals installed, so here's the question. With the header kit I got some pieces of pipe that are the same diameter as the 3.5" collectors on the headers. One is about a foot long and straight, the other is slightly longer and has a bend in it. Can anyone here tell me what purpose these pipes have and are they needed/worth installed on a TD set-up.
I plan on doing cats, H-pipe and 3" pipe with magnaflow bullets at the rear of the car.

yeah, i'm not sure what those extra pipes were for. i imagine for some sort of race setup using open headers to tune the collector length (like stock eliminator cars). thats my best guess and it coincides with them coming with the PCV scavenge tubes.
i know i didnt use them. if you can use them, then use them if not i wouldnt worry about it.

thanks for the info, I would never have guessed that. Thing that worries me is that the guy at the exhaust shop didn't know and wants to use them with my true duals. Thats not gonna happen. I would think using them would create a huge low pressure area and what the effects of that would be are beyond what I know.
