Vacuum Leak?

I installed an ls6 intake and ported my throttle body at the same time. After installation my rpms stay up for a couple of seconds and then come back down. THey also mildly hunt. I have a big cam but I sprayed wd-40 all around the intake and it never ramped up. What could be the problem? Did I take too much out of the tb? I do notice daylight around my blade. Also am I losing power due to this? THanks again.

Did you port the Throttle body around the blade ? or only up to where the blade seats.

If you now have more gaps in the T/B and blade, I would expect you will have problem as you are finding out. Make sure the Blade is fully seated when it is closed.
