true duals quick question

So is the x pipe worthless then? There's a muffler shop I go to, to get some work done to my rides when its above my know how and I asked the owner today if he could make a true dual setup and said sure. X-pipe with Borla XR1s is what I wanted. Would this not work? He recommended 1 chamber Flowmaster dumped (TD) with the x-pipe. I thought x pipe was better and H-pipe which was more for sound. Of course, I want both. Good sound and better performance.

X pipes are supposed to flow better by a lil bit....but i just love the sound of an H-pipe.

I enjoy my Hooker LT's, X-Pipe, No cats and my single-chambered Flowmasters. They give a real deep and throaty sound. Its pretty loud though but I like it. I will be chaning my X-Pipe for an H-Pipe soon.

Yeah..I have heard both..on different cars..[not just ls1's] ..and the H-Pipes sound better/louder.

I dont know how much i gained over the y-pipe set-up......but its WAY worth it in the sound department

H pipe.. X pipe.. Bahh.. just clamp them to the headers like I did.. lol.

but really TD's with and H pipe and Flowmaster 1 chambers sound great. thats my plan for exhaust now that my current setup is getting annoying.
