Shift Light <font color="blue">What is a better shift light the Harlan or Raptor? They both look to be about the same, but the Harlan is cheaper. I have heard good things about both, but would like some input from the F-Body community.<!--color--></font>
Re: Shift Light I like the Raptor myself. I like it better because of the easy access switches for setting the RPM and Cylinder. Theyre on the housing themselves and dont require any diassembling. The install was easier than I thougth. Plus I like the way that it turns on when you first turn the key to on.

I like the switches being inside so you don't see them. Once when its set, you shouldn't have to mess with them unless you get a different cam/engine. Harlan also lights up when you first start the car like in my pic. It's pretty bright! Its hard to beat the price plus he's a member here. I think you're going to find whatever people have is what they like the most.

Re: Shift Light Raptor all the way. I've had the Harlan and I prefer the Raptor. Like stated above, I like the adjustment RPM dials on the side that do not require the disassembly of the light. I always thought I may short out (static electricity) the Harlan by having to take it apart to change the settings.
Plus it looks damn cool on startup.

Re: Shift Light I had both and the Harlan lite is good, but the Raptor is definitely worth the price difference. The housing os anodized aluminum instead of plastic. The LED's look very well installed. The adjustments are much easier to make being that you use dial switches with #'s instead of dip switches. The Raptor also uses more LED's.
It's a little more expensive, but like I said...definitely worth the price difference IMO.
