ls1 intake well i think i got ripped on ebay some guy said it was a ls6 intake but when it got here it magicly turned into a ls1 intake. well since i may be stuck with this is there some way to modify it to flow with the ls6 intake? i was thinking about cutting the bottom off and tring to epoxy a smoother bottom to it and cleaning up the inside. has anyone tried this before and how well did it work?
Re: ls1 intake Dispuite the item with Ebay, The seller might just get cut off if he has misrepresented the item. If you used paypal you can dispute it with them. Been there, done that.

Re: ls1 intake shitty.. Golden Rule .... stick with a well known company preferably local Hp shop. And being that the intake is nylon I would not see how you could modify it! I have seen some nylon intakes crack after alot of miles.. But then again it was on Fords MUAHAHHAH

Re: ls1 intake this guy just e-mailed me back and he said when i asked him if the bottom was flat he figured i ment the part where the heads meet the intake. what other shape would it be? i have a bad feeling about this one. oh well, i'm just going to cut this intake up and see if i can do anything with it.
Re: ls1 intake Well, if you want to. I bought my LS6 manifold from a guy on here. The manifold was broken so I got a good deal on it. If you have to do any glueing JB Weld works great on the vinyl. Just clean the hell out of it with some dishwashing detergent and rinse the snot out of it with hot water. Dont work on the manifold until its clean. I used a 40 gallon trash can with about 1 cup of Joy and let it sit for a day. Dumped it and did it again for good luck.
