Will Macs and ORY rasp?

Will Macs and ORY rasp? Right now i have a cutout with stock manifolds.....and the rasp is pretty nasty. I was planning to get Mac mids and a ORY pipe...will the rasp still be there if i use the cutout still or invest in a actual end exhaust??

Re: Will Macs and ORY rasp? Yes, you will rasp with an ORY. The easiest way to kill rasp w/o paying for true duals is to use some high flow cats such as Random Technology or CarSound. BTW, the Mac cats are considered no good on one flow test I saw they were less CFM than one of the factory cats.

Alot of people put a bullet muffler on the I pipe.....it might help...my cousin has that setup...on a 2002 Firehawk macs,ORYP,and borla and it is raspy ..he wants to get rid of the rasp so i suggested a bullet muffler.....he hasn't put one on yet but his exhaust sounds sweet...I like it loud and raspy.... 
Re: Will Macs and ORY rasp? My buddy has Macs w/ 2 bullets in the Y w/ a Dual/Dual and its honestly the best sounding LS1 car short of true duals. No rasp, but sounds nice and mean, but also not too loud. The B1 cam sounds good threw it too 
My LTs with 2 bullets was still raspy through my Magnaflow. I was hoping it would sound like my buddy's car, but it didnt. I put in cats and its 90% better.
