Does anyone have any comments on this leak-down tester? Has anyone used this one? Please note, this will be a one-time use only, so I don't want/need to spend big bucks.

So it is likely a generic kit made in the far east.

There are many on the Market.. I used a Snap-On kit to do my test. It is a good way to find out the health of your used engine before you install it or finding out if you need to tear it down for rebuild.
For less costly tools, I usually go to Harbor Freight,

Mind had less than 5 percent leakage on all cylinders.

Fixed the link. It is the same as the $30 Harbor Freight tool. If I did this for a living, I would get the Snap-On. But for one time use, I usually go with a HF tool (I looked there, but apparently did not word my query correctly).
