I like the sound of my LM2. However I have LT headers/ORY and a cam. Sometimes I even think it may be too loud driving around at night. I have thought about putting a stock exhaust with a e-cutout on.

I AGREE, I HAVE A 2000 SS WITH A CUSTOM CAM, LS6 HEADS, BBK INTAKE, PACESETTER LT'S W/ ORY AND LM2. IT'S WICKED LOUD BUT GIVES A TON OF POWER. I DYNO'D 421 RWHP AND 400 TQR ON MOTOR. JUST GOT THE CAR BACK IN LATE SEPTEMBER BUT IT WAS SUPER LOUD, ESPECIALLY AT IDLE... IT QUIETED DOWN IN 4TH OR 5TH, AND ONCE IT WAS WARM, BUT AT STARTUP IN MY DRIVEWAY WHEN IT WAS COLD... RATTLES THE NEIGHBOR'S WINDOWS.

This might be a dumb question, but are you guy's using 1 or 2 LMII Muffler's in your setup's???

I wanna use this Muffler, but im not sure whether 1 LMII is fine, or get 2. I do plan on Header's, Cam, and ima keep tha Cat's on as well. Just to stay street legal. I dont want it to be to loud to the point, ppl bitch & complain.

My LM2 is too loud. I'm looking to sell mine and get something deeper and quieter. I have LT's, cats, and cam. Sometimes it sounds a like truck system. At idle and coast, and WOT, sounds awesome until you drive normal.

I just ditched my loudmouth 1 for a stock catback with a blowmaster muffler and an electric cutout. I have boltons and a cam. It was INSANELY LOUD, especially when warming up and giving it any kind of throttle. I liked it when it was on stock manifolds. As soon as i polish it up i will have the lm1, the slp y, and some gutted cats i am gonna sell...

I have the LM1 with mods in sig, i love it but it is loud wich i like and wanted to be a littler quiter since i go to work at 4:30am well i went the Lm2 muffler and alot of people say there would be not much of a difference....Bullshit the 2 is so much more tame, its the perfect sound i was looking for its alot quiter at idle and sounds much deper and if alot quiter in the car with not much drone at all and alot less rasp but still sounds mean as hell when you get on it. im so happy i reccomend this to anyone who has a LM1 and want to tame it down. screw borlamouth and magna mouth.. LM2 rocks.

Im currently running the LM2 too. Also have the SLP longtubes. Love the sound they make but just cant stand the clearance issues with the SLP long tubes. Im thinking of switching over to Kooks. But other than that, I think the LM2 sounds alot better than the original LM.

Not too fond of my Loudmouth 1 after the cam install, and I'm sure my neighbors hate it even more so when I cold start it at 6am to go to class, then come roaring through the parking lot at 10pm after work. The system came on my car when I bought it so I haven't messed with it. Thinking of switching to something a lot deeper and tamer myself.

The LM2 sounds good with cats and stock manis. It tends to get a lil uglier when you start adding cams, headers, ect. (not as ugly as the LM1 gets, however).
