Thats right, a throttle body would be a waste with your intake manifold. Do your exhaust and maybe a lid. But you shoud wait on the throttle body. In fact i would go as far as to say start with the intake manifold or the exhaust first.

yup..... half of the stuff in that package doesn't do anything. Just get a lid and cat back and you will have some money left over

SLP's rating are at the flywheel. Also, they are under perfrect conditions.

Id say its a good pack to buy if thats all ur going to do but if u plan on running headers the exhaust is too loud if u dont run cats.

well for 730$$ ... your thinkin of the stage 1 pac....which doesn't come w/ a maf or throttle body.. SLPs hp #s are flywheel ....theres a gmhtp article where there #s being within 2 hp....each car varies of course... u must be confuseing their air induction w/maf and throttle body w/ smooth bellow...

Yeah, I wouldn't call the SLP packages junk. I also saw an article in High Performance Pontiac where they installed each package one at a time and the car did very well for the mods. If you plan on doing more down the road then get the parts that you need right now only, though.
