ok so you got the lid and basic suspension already handled

ive been moddin my A4 Z over the last few years

my best buys were the stall (3400 and a BIG! tranny cooler ), gears ( 3.73 ), and exhaust ( long tubes bullets and dumps ), those gave me the best bang for my buck and saw immediate results i could definatly tell the difference immediatly.

others that helped w: asp pulley and ported tb and all the free mods and a tune up w/ better plugs ( ngk tr 55's ) and wires ( msd )

now im getting it all tuned in... i also just did heads and cam, fast 90 and nick williams 90 tb upgrade.

w/ just the tuning work im noticing a huge difference as well!!!

dont forget the tune !

I say you try to make it look as stock as possable and don't hurt the value of the car.
Port the TB, pulley, descreen your maf, Cheater cam, get a pt 4000 yank, a 3.73, and a elct cut out. Cal it a day.

IMHO, I'd start with a big stall (and possibly a tune) with all the free mods'. If you car was not equipped with the Blackwing lid, I'd pick-up a lid. If you car didn't come with the SLP Dual-Dual, I'd find a catback (assuming you don't want TDs.) Depending on if you are going to DD the car, I'd leave the gears alone (because I don't think SLP cars came with 2.73s; my brother didn't gain much of an advantage in his 60's and 1320's with his 3.73s over my 3.23s, and he had a little bigger converter.) Some LTs would be nice depending on your smog laws. And if your car didn't come with SLP suspension, I'd thing about going through it.

Congrats' on the new car!!!

In that case, I'd go with full exhaust, ported TB, Pulley, decent stall, and a moderate cam. That should easily give you the power and driveability you want for a good price (since you said no nitrous).

Dude, not to flame you but any cam worth puttin in an A-4 car needs a stall. They can shave 1/2 second or more off your ET with no other mods. But you are right on a few things. What he said plus ported or aftermarket heads (if you match parts right) wiil give you over 400 rwhp. Regearing is definitlely a cost effecint way to gain some on your track time but be aware everything is a trade-off if this is your DD. I wouldn't want 4.10's in my DD with an A-4. At 400HP plus you have to start worrying about how long your rearend will last too. The list is endlees and one thing leads to another. These cars are great but always a work in progress. Have fun!!

(flame suit on) leave it alone it sounds like an unmolested low mileage firehawk. Do a catback, lid, maybe headers and a tune but past that don't hack it up. A car is never the same when it is returned stock as it was when you started.

Yeah, unless the cam is uber small, you'll want a stall converter.

As for leaving it stock, that's cool if that's what you want to do with your own car, but this guy obviously doesn't want to do that, so I don't see the point of the post.

Yes, i really live in Sweden.
200km south of Stockholm in a smal place named Linghem.
And about the girls, YES

No i don't think soo. Most of the girls here are just the same as in other countries.
