Headers goin' on, what do to while the manifolds are off?
don't see why it would. why would having less flex on the part of the car that creates the flexing action, create problems with the rest of the drivetrain.
if nothing else it would help.
That is what I want to hear.
Now excuse me for asking a stupid question.
These Prothane motor mounts come in pairs, do they not?(referring to Thunder Racing) How many are there in total on our engines? Just two? Or do I need to buy more than one set?
should come in pairs...i think....should say on the listing.
you'll have to pull the stockers off the car. grind off some rivits i think, then use supplied hardware to bolt the poly ones on.
reinstall
have a jack under the engine (obviosly need it to support it) but jack up the motor a bit and it will make removal easier.
oh and do one side at a time. dont remove the other mount bolt till you finish the first side.. that way it will keep everything lined up for the most part. otherwise you'll be under there pushing and pulling the motor to get 2 bolts lined up.
Anyone have solid mounts on a DD/street vehicle. Doesn't necessarily have to be a DD, but driven atleast twice a week on the street or something of the sorts.....

I have a cam so I definitely noticed a difference. The whole car shakes a little when I'm stopped at a light and when I rev, the whole car tweaks a little. LOVE 'EM!
