Default LS1 intake rubber piece

Hey,

I know some of online speed shops sell it. I was looking to make my own, the rubber piece that goes between the MAF and TB.
Anyone done it? I hear it worth about 3-4hp and smooths out the in coming air.

It's a piece made by SLP called the smooth bellows.

We sell them for $69.95 shipped.

This has been covered time and time again. The smooth bellows is usually used as an appearance mod. It does serve a good purpose for a wet kit though. If your talking about making your own, you are reffering to the Fernco mod. You can buy this piece of rubber in the rough plumbing section in the store. This has also been known to crack the lid due to not flexing as the oe part does. Hope this helps

It's a plumbing piece, its rubber that is about a 1/2 inch in thickness if I remember right.
