MAF or Misfire?

Earlier today me and a buddy of mine were testing out the rides, i drive a 2001 Camaro SS Auto. and me and him gunned it in 2nd gear and at the top of second gear it started backfiring and bogging down holding me back it only does it sometimes and then when im at a stop it will hesitate and then go what do you guys think it is i really need some help with this one.

no ses or no codes thats the thing it dont through anything so i dont know what it is

try doing new plugs, wires, etc. Prob not a MAF because you prob would throw a MAF code in a SES light.

i barley put new plugs and wires and i checked them too
