Default true duals with stock manifolds??

hey guys i am considering doing this until i can afford some long tubes. One reason is spohn torque arm wont fit stock exhaust. what kind of gains? what mufflers do you reccomend and i plan on using an xpipe where is the best place to get one? also this will be with 3" off roads what is the stock exhaust size?

When I installed my G2 Y with Hooker 3' exhaust I dynoed an extra 18 Rwhp and that's with stock cats. If you don't plan head and cam change the stock manifolds flow ok, no need for LT, not worth the cash or the headaches. Shorty headers are a waste.

My 2 cents says save up for long tubes. I don't see the dire need for the Spohn torque arm if you're working with a motor that doesn't have the need for long tube headers anyway. No sense in buying things twice, so save up and do it right the first time.

only thing is cost wise it really wont be any more. i just cut off the extra lentgh on the duals when i got to long tubes and reweld flanges on.... not a big deal.

If you decide to do this mobius can you post pics, Im considering it too. I never got a lot of positive feedback on the idea, but I know there are guys who have done it.

sure will i am looking at routing the exhaust out the sides of the car in front of rear tires. i'll just convert to long tubes later should be easy just cut the extra length off of the duals and weld a flange. i am also probably going 3" since the headers will be 3"

any other suggestions? or should i just get pacesetters with an offroad y? it would only cost another 200 bux...
