Default Removing Exhaust Tips

Well fellas im looking to take the current tips off the old SS, but ive run into a small problem:whoever put these on welded them to the muffler. I know very little about welding but am looking to sell these tips and therefore want them in mint shape. Im just going with a different setup so what would be the best way to remove the current tips without damaging them or the piping there attached? Im probably gonna just clamp the new ones on because I think im gonna have a full exhaust soon, and will have it welded. Thanks in advance!!!!

Personally I am against welding exhaust where a clamp will work just as well. Makes for ease of removal and if you run into an issue where you are forced to part it out beyond your own will it makes things easier to ship too.
