Unhappy EXHAUSTed & Confused

Well I am so confused on which exhaust to go with. I wAs almost dead set on going with the Rumbler x from TSP until i did a search and found a guy that had a 02 TA, like i do, and he had so many problems. I am i better to go with the Dynatech Supermaxx system or?? How many of you like the install of the Rumbler X? And how many of you still like it? I would still prefer to go true Duals. Thanks.

there really isn't an answer to your question.

for some reason, every exhaust fits differently on every car, particularly TDs. i think its just because the car was not designed for them.

big issues are pipe-frame clearances. which is completely dependant on the header...mostly collector location. other considerations are age of the motor mounts and how much engine movement they allow.

i have flowtech headers with a custom built X piped TD setup...fits great.

i just helped a buddy install the RumblerX on his Pacesetter headers...and the pipes were touching the frame just behind the driver-side collector.

basically...it is highly unlikely you'll get a 100% bolt up system that will give ZERO problems.

that's why i say have it custom built...then you can adjust as you build.

+1 on custom. and just think, you can always adjust it down the road if you dont like it.
