Default 1998 lid or 2001 lid

I put race style longtubes on and I am ordering my MTI lid soon. I have no AIR and if i am right the old ls1 didnt have the hose on the lid . Plz let me know if i should order one for a 2001 witch is what I have or an older like 98 model one. Thanks Penning

Im not sure about the differences but I don't use the AIR either and my SLP lid came with the hose and fittings to hook it up. I just went to Autozone and they have like rubber caps in the self-help section you can put over the hole. You don't notice when it pluged. I can take some pictures of mine if your wondering.

Thanks but I was kinda wanting the clear lid and i really dont want a plug sticking out the side of it. It would work if I had the black one. Thanks

If you want to keep air, get the 00-02 lid other wise get the 98-99 one without the hole makes for alot cleaner appearance.

there are plugs that fit in the hole perfectly. either way the slp comes with the hole and a plug for 98-99
