Re: bauer TB you can pay a core charge if i am not mistaken. I just sent mine and put another one on my car when i sent it to him with a check. Bret is awsome in customer service, my friend sent my tb with a corvette plate (long story, has no idle hole) and he took care of it for me. Thing was flawless when i got it back, made me glad i didn't do it myself. Plus he flow tests them to his specs.

Re: bauer TB I had purchased one from another vendor that was not done correctly, Bret redid it for me, and it is GREAT, great product, excellent service. I ended up paying twice, but it was worth every penny to have Bret do it right. You will be happy.
Re: bauer TB What's the turn around time for sending off a TB and getting it back? I'd have to just let my car sit while mine's shipped off to be ported because it's my daily driver.

Re: bauer TB just find another one somewhere. I had a 99 truck tb and i only got half throttle, made for some interesting races, damn think took for ever to wrap out. The 02's have a bigger fulcrum. You can adjust the throttle cable, i just didn't want to mess with it. Just make sure and send yours off and use the replacement for the time being. Truck tb's work, off the 99 and up, only thing is the breather hose from the vavle covers is pointed up instead of down (like the ls1's are). I'm sure you can find one, sometimes they are on ebay and go for around 30-60 bucks.
