Default What do I need to do about my y-pipe??

I am running jet hot longtubes and ory. I have wanted to do something about the crappy merge on my jet hots for a while now. I have thought about getting a new y made but there are not any good exhaust shops around here.

I am leaning towards getting a muflex y and a reducer. Does the mufflex slip over my jet hots? will I have to cut my I pipe to make room for the reducer? Also I am running bmr trac pac. Will the 4 inch reducer work with the trac pac.

How much difference will a y-pipe make for me? Will it be worth the expense to have this done?

On a 100 shot I dynoed 440 hp and 530 torque on a low reading rustang dyno. I am about to spray a 150 shot.

Also, would a cutout help me any?.......I have a magnaflow catback

thanks in advance for any help

I think you should buy a flowmaster dual 3" in 4" out and get a 4" to 3" reducer and have a shop fab up the rest for you. it would flow very well and clear the trac pack im pretty sure

That is what I wanted to do at first, but I don't know of a good exhaust shop in my area that could do it without it being hacked up and ugly. No one around here has a mandrel bender.
