Exhaust problem.

I got my pace setter headers and ory pipe on and the leak fixed. So todat iw as finally able to go out and really open her up. Well it seems that my throttle response is delayed. I feel like i am losing power. I dont have a cat yet i just bolted it right up. Do you think maybe i dont have enough back pressure or the scavenging effect ( I think that's what its called) is not occuring. I havent got a tune yet by the way. Any idea's or is just my mind toying with me?

Im assuming your talking about longtube headers, if so your goona loose a little low end power its normal. If you dont have a tune yet get one an it will help.

You can fix that with a good set of gears. Yes, if you have bad scavenging and use longtube headers that is usually the effect. Getting a big cam will also only make it worse so don't do that.
