MTI lid ... what size is the opening????
I have a Fast 90mm intake, a Holley 90mm throttle body, and a SLP 85mm MAF. Am I robbing myself with the MTI clear lid I bought from SPEEDINC, or, is it an 85mm opening? Does anybody know the opening size?

I'm sorry, the only reason I poked my head in here is cause I do have an MTI lid, and I considered going outside to measure it.
But since you have one couldn't you just, you know, take a ruler and measure it?
I hope I'm not sounding like a **** here.

I also don't have a cloth tape measure to get an accurate measurement of the circumference to use the formula to get the diameter .. besides, that still would not tell me what the INSIDE diameter is unless I knew the wall thickness of the product, which would still require me to remove the lid to measure with a micrometer. But, then again, if it were off the car, well, you know, why would I not just measure the diamater at that point?
It makes sense to me (in my situation) to simply ask someone who would know. Does this not make sense to you in my predicament.
Here my setup ... maybe you can see the problem ... mabe you can't.

John ... no offense was taken ... just making it clear why I didn't take the lid off to measure. Zach@MTI still has not repsonded to my PM for whatever reason, so, I just went ahead and ordered the Fast Toys 85mm lid ... also ordered the JAAM WS6 plate ... hopefully, I'll see enough gain to make the purchase worthwhile. .1-.1.5 ET and 1-2 MPH gain would be really nice ... sealing the airbox today.
