intake manifold & TB
intake manifold & TB i was thinking about getting a ls6 intake manifold eiter te 78 or 90mm....now how muc hp gain have u guys seen from that and if i do that do i have to get a bigger and same size tb also? and i wanna get it tuned after this right?>

The ls6 manifold is 78mm. They do not make a 90mm version. You will generally see a 15hp gain over a ls1 intake. Your stock throttle body will work with the ls6 manifold, you might want to look into getting the stock tb ported. This will also add 7-10 hp.
If you plan on doing heads and cam, the FAST 90/90 would be a good choice. If you are going to do just bolt ons to a mild or medium cam ls6 and ported stock throttle body would be nice route, probably the cheapest also. I just installed a ls6 intake and it was well worth it, better throttle response, you will notice the increase in power.
unless you have ported heads,a bigger tb isnt going to help,we have run stock tb's on ls6 intakes into the 420range and then swapped to fast 90/90 and only picked up a couple,not worth it in my opinion
