Default Help Electrical problems

My battery is charging just above 13 when the car is idling. As soon as i give it any gas im talking approx. 2000 RPMs the charge in the battery shoots above 18 completely into the red zone. Is this the alternator? I just put a new one in approx. two months ago. Thanks

Internal voltage regulator. I have had "new" alternators go bad in less time then you've had yours in. Pull it out and bring to an auto parts store that will test it for you...

I have had this same issue before and it was the alternator.
