I am looking for install prices on a torque converter, tranny cooler, lts with ory to an existing exhaust system

If you have had any of these components installed in a shop can you give me some general prices because I had planned on doing it myself but dont have the space, tools, or time to do this so any estimates?

depends on what shop you take it to, but id say no more than 450-550 for everything...but you should be able to get it cheaper than that

i called an exhaust shop around here and they estimated 5-7 hours + on the lts and ory install said would run me $500 max more then likely $350-$400 so youre saying i can get a shop to throw in a stall and tranny cooler for $150? cause thats the main thing im worried about

A tranny cooler alone will cost between $100 and $150 ( labor and parts ). The shop that works on my car gave me a labor estimate of about $300 to install a new converter.

that should take around 8 hours to do all, multiply that by a shops labor rate and should get you close-we charge about 700.00 to do all

Yup.... Also, it would help knowing where your at... Shop labor rates vary. Some shops charge upwards of 100 an hour depending on states.

at my apt youre not allowed to work on your car so not really a choice I dont have the space to do it myself or I would =\

i called around today found a new performance shop in town called "PERFORMANCE CONCEPTS" that have been turning out some good numbers quoted me $400 for the exhaust $320 ($230 for stall $90 for cooler)for stall and cooler and around $450 for dyno and tune with "hptuners"? he told me since it has'nt been tuned he could prob pull 50hp out of those parts with the tune. With a pretty good price for when i want to throw some more mods and get another tune

He also tried to get me to send my pacesetters back to jegs and get some kooks or something like that, he said he had them on his 2000 turbo z28 and was constantly getting rattles and exhaust leaks etc since he switched to kooks no problem.

Has anyone else had alot of problems with the pacesetters?

edit: I am thinking about putting in some 3:43's would it cost less for me to go ahead and do that while they are installing the stall and tranny cooler or should it be the same?

it might be slightly cheaper since he would be doing a lot to your vehicle, but its ussually 450-550 for a gear swap, well it was about two years ago anyway..(I know I was already wrong once)
