Default Cheap cutout

I'm just looking for a simple non-electric 3" cutout. Which of the sponsors would I buy from? I'd think all cutouts are the same since it's just piping, so which one would be the cheapest?

MTI has a 3" for $45. That's a lot IMO.

I bought a stainless QTP manual cutout. You can get the regular ones for around $30.

i think the you should consider the QTP, its a little more, but mine are just mild steel summit cutouts, and they are already rusty

Look under "exhaust flange" on Summits site, cheap and they work well. I've had one for 3/4 years.

Does the rust matter though? Aside from looking ugly when you climb under the car.

If you ever want to cap it, it'd most likely be easier to do it if it wasn't all rusty. Also, as far as I know the stock exhaust is stainless, so you might as well get the stainless cutout and keep it that way. No sense in adding a spot for rot to start.

If I would have known you wanted one when we were at my shop changing your plug I had a brand new one in there I would have given you. Actually I think we talked about cutouts but I didn't realize you wanted one, I already sold it.
