Default Installing a power steering pump pulley

so im trying to install my pulley and can figure out how to put it on i tried to just pull it on with a bolt but the bolt only threads in about 3 threads and wont turn anymore any ideas

Go to Auto Zone. Rent the tool.

how do you use the puller to put it back on i just dont get how that works

You don't...it is an all in one tool (as in all the parts are in the same box). It just has the right length bolt and a few other attachments (I forget, it has been a while since I did mine) to draw the pulley on. Mine took some muscle, but it went on with that tool set.
