Default Need help identifying this muffler

Hi,

I just registered as I'm looking for some help in identifying this muffler.
It was mounted on a 1998 LS1 Convertible, it's pretty small, not stainless steel, no numbers or anything on the muffler, at least I couldn't see anything. No other mods on the car, everything stock, except the muffler itself, so it's no cat-back system.
I love the sound, although quite a lot gets lost in the video.

I have a 2002 TransAm on the way from Texas to Europe, and I want that muffler.

Any help is appreciated. I thought it might be a magnaflow, but I think it should be stainless steel then.

So if anyone can help, lemme know, thanks

Sebastian

yeah it sounds like the stock replacement Flowmaster crossflow muffler. It will make the car sound better but not do much for power gain. I bet the writing and stamping is on the top of muffler where you can't see it.

Thanks for the answers.

Yeah it's hard to figure out as you can't see much of the muffler.
I sold the car last year (just bought it to sell it here in Europe in the 1st place), so I only have the video, and can't take a look at the exhaust again.

Someone told me he thinks it might be a Flowtech Afterburner, but I can't find any soundclips or videos on these.
