Default Why wont anyone install my XR1???

Ive seen alot of people put an XR1 in place of the LM resonator, but ive taken my car to 5 different shops and everone said it won't fit, and nobody will attempt it. Ive searched but I can't find any good pics to show them. Did anyone have to clearance the floorboards or anything to make the muffler fit? Why is my car different????

It sounds like a lot of these shops just don't want to bother. I guess I am lucky that Mufflex is local, but I have read about tons of exhaust shops saying it's impossible to make duals for our cars.

You just gotta keep looking. My good friend wirld at a exhaust shop and I had to harass the hell out of him to get him to do it. Finally he caved and now I have 3" catted y to 3.5" single...it barely fits tho
